Google Play connection & privacy

This optional connection requests only Google Data Portability access to your Google Play subscriptions. It does not request Gmail messages, browser history, passwords, payment-card details, or every purchase you have made. It covers subscriptions billed through Google Play, rather than all services where you use a Google login.

You start the connection in Renulio and approve the scope and duration on Google. Google offers one-time access or ongoing access for 30 or 180 days; pilot/testing limits can expire earlier. Access can be removed at any time in your Google Account.

Renulio retrieves a subscription export and processes it on its server. Downloaded archives are handled in bounded memory and are not retained as raw files, sent to AI services, or deliberately logged. OAuth tokens are encrypted for your Renulio account in server storage; browser roles cannot read them. Tokens are retained only while tracking is enabled, and are erased locally when the connection stops or expires. Renulio requests provider revocation on disconnection and reports when revocation cannot be confirmed.

Renulio retains the subscription name, source identity hash, reported state, price/currency/period when supported, renewal/expiry dates, observation time, and tracking issues. You can see these in the connection page. For enabled pilot accounts, your initial automatic-tracking consent allows creation and updates of managed ledger entries from supported records. Document matching is limited to the same Google permission; changes to identity, ambiguous records, manual edits and deletions pause automatic changes. Missing facts remain unknown. Existing manually entered subscriptions are not silently adopted, and absence from an export does not imply cancellation.

Recurring access allows new export requests at least 24 hours apart while the permission lasts. An export may take hours. A failed or incomplete export is not proof that a subscription ended. When the automatic connection stops, inherited reminders for its managed entries are paused; saved ledger entries remain. This connection does not make payments, change your provider plan, or cancel provider subscriptions.

Availability depends on operator setup, Google account eligibility, application verification, and a successful real export test. This pilot notice does not claim Google verification or universal subscription coverage.
